SUMMARY:#WeEatWell20
DESCRIPTION:#WeEatWell19 was an initiative inspired by the twitter @WeCommunities #WeActiveChallenge held each August.  In that challenge tribes of UK based health professions compete against each other to win the #WeActiveChallenge. There is always fierce rivalry between the two leading teams @WeNurses\, a team made up of nurses and their supporters and @WeAHPs \, a team made up of allied health professionals and their supporters.  The #WeActiveChallenge combines the serious matter of encouraging health professionals to get fitter with light hearted twitter banter and encouragement. \n  \n  \n \n  \nBy popular demand from #WeEatWell19 participants\,  the #WeEatWell20 challenge was hosted on twitter throughout November 2020. \nAdsFoundation exists to promote health and care staff well-being as an important step in ensuring patient well-being and safety.  #WeEatWell19 had been started (prior to the establishment of AdsFoundation) by Adam’s mum Dr. Zoe as an event to promote health and care staff well-being\, both through promoting healthy eating and friendly camaraderie on twitter. \n  \n  \nMinor changes were made to #WeEatWell2o.  This year participants had optional daily challenges\, based on a different letter of the alphabet each day\, to encourage participants to try healthy foods they might not otherwise try. Jackfruit promoted the most discussion. The daily challenges gave the opportunity for us to share nutritional information and recipes about that days food. \n  \nAnother change was that rather than the quantity of tweets posted by an individual participant with the WeEatWell hashtag being the criteria to win the basket of healthy foods at the end of the month\, in 2020 a daily badge for the ‘Tweet of the Day’ was awarded. Tweet of the day were chosen because their shared an inspiring recipe\, or some helpful nutritional advice or they made us smile.  At the end of the month a prize of a basket of health treats was awarded to the tweeter who had won the most tweets of the day over the month\, the winner being @sams_monkey. \n  \n  \n  \n
