Dr Zoe Picton-Howell is finalist in Law Works Pro Bono Awards
The pro-bono work of AdsFoundation director and Adam’s mum Zoe for the Adam Bojelian Foundation was recognised in December, when she was a finalist in the Law Works Pro Bono Awards, in the Best Contribution by an Individual category.
Zoe’s short listing recognised all the pro-bono (unpaid) work Zoe does for the AdsFoundation, including the establishment, management and hosting of our free legal advice service, which is part of the Law Works network.
Zoe said of the shortlisting: ‘It is a real honour to be short-listed amongst such an impressive group of lawyers and legal organisations, especially having been recognised by such eminent members of my profession. Most importantly it is heart warming to know that even seven years after his death Adam is still making the world better for others through his legacy. Congratulations to the very worthy winners. It was wonderful to attend the awards event and hear of so much good work being done by so many lawyers to help and support those in our society most in need. It is sad lawyers need to provide pro-bono services, but good there are so many brilliant lawyers doing so’.
