Workshops for children and young people

The Adam Bojelian Foundation run workshops inspiring children and young people’s creativity using Adam’s multi-award winning poems. During the workshops participants have the opportunity to write a poem.  They also learn, in an age appropriate way, about alternative methods of communication and have the opportunity to play a game communicating using one of these methods.

The workshops are age appropriate and fun, both sparking children and young people’s creativity and increasing their disability awareness.  They are available for:

  • Early years ( 3 to 5 years)
  • Key Stage 1 (5 to 7 years)
  • Key Stage 2 (7 to 11 years)
  • Key Stage 3 (11 to 14 years)

Workshops are provided free or charge to organisations within 10 miles of York, UK but a donation to support the work of the AdsFoundation is welcome from those organisations who are able to make one.  Workshops can also be provided across the UK where organisations are able to pay reasonable travel expenses.

If you would like to hold one of our workshops at your school, hospital, Rainbows, Brownies, Cubs, village hall, library, bookshop or other venue or would like more information about our workshops, please get in touch using the CONTACT US tab.
