What do we do and how?
The AdsFoundation works primarily with public sector and voluntary organisations and those working for or with those organisations.
We work with organisations and individuals in a number of ways and tailor what we do to meet the needs of the organisation or individuals with whom we are working. In all our work with endeavour to live the values we aim to inspire in others. For example, when working with an organisation to encourage good communication and wide participation, we endeavour to actively listen to staff; to communicate well and encourage wide participation in the planning of any project. We always welcome feedback on our work.
The AdsFoundation provides a number of services, these include the following, but we are always happy to discuss with individuals or organisations other healthcare law, ethics and communication, education or training needs you believe the AdsFoundation may be able to help meet:
- Working in partnership with organisations to develop and provide a bespoke programme of workshops for staff on law, rights, ethics and communication;
- Providing bespoke workshops on diverse aspects of healthcare law, ethics and communication;
- Providing bespoke training manuals for organisations on diverse aspects of healthcare law, ethics and communication;
- Providing on-line training courses in law, ethics and communication;
- Conducting Rights Impact Assessments;
- Facilitating ‘safe space’ on-line meet ups for health professional & others to share mutual support and friendship;
- Providing on-line resources for use in healthcare law & ethics education;
- Providing comprehensive signposting to healthcare law & ethics organisations and to third party resources.
The resources on our website are free to use for educational and training purposes, but any donations to support our work, from organisations or individuals in a position to make them, are greatly appreciated.
